Transport Administration

Transport administration includes services for all transport related administration, planning, performance and control. UnitedLog Supply Chain Services retrieve the fundamental information needed from the customers IT-system, through EDI or through mail.  Based on customer needs and agreed routines operations plan the transport (consolidation of orders, route planning, product optimization etc.) by using the best operators with the best solutions. All documentation needed is handled by operations.

The acutal booking is monitored by operations, from the point when the booking is made until the goods reach its final destination. We handle all the deviations directly and when agreed, the customer is notified. Delivery notifications are sent to the customer according to set agreements. UnitedLog Supply Chain Services also checks all transportation invoices and contacts the forwarder when deviations are found.

We continuously analyses transport flows in order to assure that the most optimal transport solution is used based on order structures, volumes, weights and destinations. We use the analysis tools Route LogiX, TD, UnitedLog Consultings TPA, CAST and Arena to be assured in this area.

UnitedLog Supply Chain Services has a service center available for the customer and treats all transport related questions. The customer also has a group handling its activities and also a customer responsible person within Outsourcing Services.
